Well, I just wanted to add my two cents here and say that overall there seems to be nothing WRONG with this battery, except maybe that it costs too much, wears out too fast, and can only be used in one, or a few battery operated "things" on the planet.
Looks like some (6 to be exact) c-cells in a fancy plastic cover. Why don't you tool maker guys just sell us the cover for 3.99 and let us put our own dang batteries in it?!?! (I would even buy rechargables so I didn't blow myself up) you might need a sticker for that!
Anyway... its a great tool and the battery does whats it's s'posed to do. (make paslode a lot of dough)

PS: My dead Makita drill battery was (7) c-cells in an expensive plastic cover. :-)
Seriously though folks... this battery is AWESOME. 'Cause it powers one of the most handy innovative nail guns ever made!!! once you own one, you'll likely be hooked, and not mind the occasional outrageously priced fancily packed c-cell purchase to keep it running.Get more detail about Paslode Cordless Battery.
